About Vishwas
Before co-founding pWin.ai, Vishwas served as the CTO at Applied Information Sciences (AIS), a large federal government contractor, bringing nearly 30 years of engineering experience and thought leadership to the GovCon space.
During his tenure as CTO, he served as the technical SME for massive federal pursuits, including partnering with Microsoft on the $10B JEDI contract (read Vishwas’s blog on what the JEDI award meant for public cloud adoption). Vishwas is also the creator of several widely used tools, including Netizen, MyFOIA, Media Center App, WAMS Manager, Excel Calc Engine, and Azure Service Catalog.
A noted industry speaker (Channel9, Ignite, VSLive) and author (Pluralsight), Vishwas currently serves as the Microsoft Regional Director for Washington D.C. and is a recipient of the Microsoft AI MVP award for 2026–2027.

The Origins: Building a GovCon AI Engine
What is pWin.ai?
pWin.ai is a deterministic, human-in-the-loop (HITL) Proposal Intelligence Platform designed specifically for high-stakes federal acquisition. Unlike generic ChatGPT wrappers that hallucinate facts, pWin.ai automates RFP shredding, cross-reference compliance matrices, and Shipley-aligned proposal drafting while protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
The Launch of pWin.ai: Why We Spun Out of Applied Information Sciences (AIS)
After decades of writing winning proposals for complex IDIQ, BPA, and Task Order pursuits at AIS, we saw a critical gap in the GovCon AI market: teams were using AI to write faster, but not to write better. We spent two years in stealth building a GenAI engine to solve this. However, to build a true, independent platform without creating Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) issues, pWin.ai was spun out as a completely separate entity.
